The steps for implementing the paints are in three main stages, as follows:
• The beginning is to make rough sanding of the walls to overcome the protrusions and reach smooth and flat walls.
• The walls are washed with clean, salt-free water to get rid of any dirt or dust produced during sanding.
• In the event of any cracks appearing in the walls, these cracks must be opened and filled with hard putty designated for that purpose.
• After preparing the walls, the first primer is applied in order to prepare the walls for painting work.
A first face of the putty is made on the wall and then sanded using medium sandpaper.
It should be noted that the primer and putty should be of the same quality as the paint to unify work specifications and ensure quality and cohesion between materials.
A second face of the paste is made with a slightly different color from the first face, so that we can distinguish the parts that were covered with one or two sides of the paste, then a fine sandpaper face is made.
After each stage of putty and sanding, the walls must be cleaned of dust, whether by brushing or using compressed air.
If any defects are noticed in the walls, an additional face of the putty is made with fine sandpaper.
• Upon completion of all putty and sanding work, the walls are cleaned and a second face of primer paint (sealer) is made.
The finishing stage begins with the work of the first face of the paint in what is known as the lining, and it shall be of the same degree of color as required.
An additional lining face is made from the same paint to ensure full coverage and concealment of the colors.
Finally, the third and final side of the painting is done after the completion of the other finishing works and the absence of any other work on the site.
These steps must be adhered to to get great results and high quality paints.
